Gangtok – the largest town and the capital of Sikkim lies along one side of a hill. Although, it enjoys a stable mild climate throughout the year, it is prone to frequent landslides during the monsoon. It is also in close proximity to the Indo-China border of Nathula Pass. Lachung, Over the frozen mountains & beneath the shining sun

Where Is It?

Located at an elevation of more than 9000 ft above sea level, this tiny town is a visual delight. Lachung, which means “small pass”, comes under the Protected Area of North Sikkim. River Rafting in the ice cold waters of Teesta

Where is it?

Also called as white water rafting, this extreme sport can give anyone a rush of adrenaline. About an hour’s drive from the town of Gangtok, lies Bhalkhola which is the popular starting point for rafting in the glacial waters of the Teesta. At an altitude of 7200ft, Pelling is a pleasant yet relatively unexplored town in the foothills of the Mt.Kanchenjunga.
